Haíɫzaqv Community Energy Plan (HCEP)
This version of the Haíɫzaqv Community Energy Plan (HCEP) was submitted to the Indigenous Off-Diesel Initiative Phase 3. The HCEP will be ratified by our joint leadership, both the Yi̓ím̓ás (hereditary chiefs) Council and the elected Heiltsuk Tribal Council.
A community feast will be held to celebrate "lṇts h̓ákq̓ṃ’ila wáx̌a" (we have all agreed), words by Marina Humchitt. Date to be determined due to Covid, more information to come.
There will be a virtual presentation of HCEP on February 16th 6:00 pm to 6:40 pm with a live Q&A afterwards with the Haíɫzaqv Climate Action Team.
